Please note: We do not have a lift, but our reception team are always on hand to assist with luggage when needed. Our beautiful grade two listed building does not have air conditioning but a fan is provided in every room. The Wizard Chambers

Concealed in the lower ground floor, curious guests can enjoy venturing to the Wizard Chamber on the lower ground floor of our 19th-century hotel. Pass through a portrait-lined passageway that is bathed in candlelight that casts dancing shadows across the walls.

Created to conjure a mysterious and gothic feel, each room features faux castle details such as stained glass windows, stone walls, archways, trunks, cauldrons, four-poster beds hung with velvet curtains and an abundance of other curious artefacts. Wood burning stoves, cauldrons in fireplaces and tapestries complete the look.

Enchanted Chambers

Our Enchanted Chambers are smaller and cosier than our Wizard Chambers, yet still provide all of the magic. Designed for couples who want to be captivated by the magic, they can be found concealed behind a bookcase door on the lower ground level of the hotel, along a portrait-lined passageway bathed in candle light.

Each room features faux castle details such as stained glass windows, stone walls, archways, trunks, wood burning stoves and cauldrons. Complete your magical journey with our bewitched breakfast experience.

Wizard Afternoon Tea

Available : Every Saturday-Sunday from 13:30-17:00pm.

Our Wizards have been working and they’ve created a new spellbindingly delicious afternoon tea. This new offering includes a selection of savoury treats (not just your regular sandwiches!) sweet and savoury scones and a tasty trio of new desserts. Wizard Potion making…

This experience is available to book every Saturday-Sunday from 5pm- 6pm

Concoct your potion and cast your spell under the watchful eye of our Head Wizard. Carefully unravel your ancient scroll and mix an array of potions and powders, including goblin goo to make your curious caviar! This experience includes 2 cocktail or 2 mocktails as part of the experience!

Our magical Wizard potion experience is available for £25 and our non-alcoholic version for £20 per Wizard. We would recommend this experience for Wizards only and would usually allow between 30-40 minutes for each experience.
